This painting is one in a series of works produced from the artist's time spent on the East Coast of Tasmania.

This work was inspired by the beauty of the view of the horizon framed by the elevated rocks and boulders. Flecks of burnt orange glow as the light reflects off these rock faces that seem to light up from within. Contrasted against the teal ocean, the colours draw you in, and you can imagine the peace and tranquillity of watching the water rise and fall against these ancient forms.
